5 1/2" long, 2" tall, .750" bore and 1.55" stroke. 48g. Handcut vulcanite stem with Delrin tenon.
 
For all the complaining I do about briar (which is ENTIRELY justified), every once in a while I get something like this. I was actually aiming for a blast, but the grain here was just too strong, too symmetrical, too flowing. If I had blasted this pipe, I would have been punished. Those (few) of you who read my blog may remember The Briar Imp. When the briar gives you a gift you must respect it. Even if it's not exactly what you wanted at the time.
