5.6" long, 1.85" tall, .750 bore, 1.6" stroke, 41g. Natural horn floc, handcut vulcanite stem with Delrin tenon.
Don't know why it took this long, but as I was turning the horn ring for this pipe it occurred to me: horn rings on pipes remind me of agate stripping guides on fly rods. They're not red, but they have that same translucent shine. Which isn't profound or anything, just a connection I hadn't made before that perhaps helps explain why I like them so much.
