Oval Dublin

5 1/2"  long, 2" tall, 7/8" bore and just over 1 5/8" stroke. 51g. Natural horn floc, handcut vulcanite stem.
 
First, the blast.  Man, I was THIS close to finishing this one smooth. Glad I didn't. My sandblast rig has been cutting well for a while but really caught this one on the screws.
 
Next, the size. Something about recent commissions: they have all been for larger pipes. I don't know why I thought everybody loved group 3 as much as I do, but every request has been some variation of "this pipe, only bigger." So this one is a generous group 4, maybe even a 5. Something for everybody, you know.
